Leadership
Albert Reed
Prior to founding Universal Foundry with Lucian, Albert co-founded Boston-based Demiurge Studios, which he led as CEO and later chairman for nearly 15 years where he helped to grow Demiurge into a 100-person studio leading to an acquisition by Embracer in 2020. He has served in advisory roles with several game companies including Otherside Entertainment and Wizards of the Coast.
Lucian Cesca
Lucian is the engineering lead at Universal Foundry. Lucian was co-founder and head of engineering at Atlas (acquired 2023) where he developed compliance software for large financial institutions. Prior to that, Lucian developed high-performance computing and CI/CD platforms at Argo AI and Apple, streamlining build and deployment processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
